Experience proves that in this life peace and satisfaction are had, not by the listless but by those who are fervent in God’s service. And rightly so. For in their effort to overcome themselves and to rid themselves of self-love, they rid themselves of the roots of all passion and unrest.

–Saint Ignatius.

Christians now truly
World over sympathize
A loneliness surely
Left for slaughter
Countries ..many cries
Murder now broader
Hurts of a people crucified
Like of Jesus .. said at times
A man ..all alone
Christianity questioned
Christianity persecuted
Distant cries unheard
Mercy this world void
Worry not ..God’s Word
Cannot be stopped
Merely shedding of blood
Blood carries a cry
God’s people not all alone
Heard in heaven
Voices Christian martyrs
Remembered and known forever
Unprovoked slaughters
Guilty only their belief
A people innocent
Yet a Barabbas cry given
History past and recent
World where Christians ..all alone
Jesus prayed alone garden Gethsemane
Suffered alone night before crucifixion
An innocent man cried alone, that cross
But people of all nations
Whoever wants a friend and Savior
They are not at a loss
On that cross salvation’s invitation
Christians really never are all alone
Maybe the world turn it’s back
Jesus never will ..God’s Son
Forsake you nor leave you ..all alone!!

Revelation 6:9-11King James Version (KJV)

9 “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
